High River Rogue Hot Sauce

***AS SEEN ON HOT ONES***

Insistent heat and a shape-shifting flavour profile are the hallmarks of this killer hot sauce. Starting off sweet the flavour quickly transitions to a more bold sweet & sour combination. The heat lingers pleasantly, a lovely reminder that this is not your average grocery store sauce.

Ingredients: Apple cider vinegar, applesauce (apples, water), pears (pears, water, sugar, citric acid), Trinidad Scorpion pepper mash (Trinidad Scorpion peppers, salt), light brown sugar (cane sugar and molasses), blood orange concentrate (pure cane sugar, water, natural flavours, citric acid, vegetable juice (colour), potassium citrate, beta-carotene (colour), Jolokia pepper mash (Jolokia peppers, salt), water, red serrano pepper mash (red serrano peppers, salt), blood orange puree (blood orange juice concentrate, filtered water, fruit and vegetable juice (for colour) and natural flavour), lime juice, garlic, ginger root, xanthan gum. Net weight: 148 ml

Incredible flavour - not so hot

This is probably one of the tastiest hot sauces I've ever had, the fruit flavours come through really well and the vinegary tang is great. Not a super hot sauce though, more like a level 5 or so.

Meh

Decent heat but I really didn't like the flavour.

Tangy flavour, great heat - feels hotter than advertised

I bought this for the pear / apple / blood orange angle + the Ghost & Scorpion peppers. This one was surprising: by the spoonful it was just ok, but on wings it was fantastic to mix things up. The fruit tang is definitely there and the heat feels like a 6/10... higher than the sub-40K scoville rating would suggest in my opinion.

Sensational

Just tried this sauce, as a pepperhead i appreciate spice but also flavor to the max, that being said this sauce has all it's bases covered. I can eat it on anything that requires some umph, first tried on my eggs at breakfast and fell inlove. Great product!!

Dawson Original Hot Sauce

Smells good. Tastes good. Hot as hell. But manageable.

The toe was damn hot!!!

The toe of satan is friggin so hot. It's one thing to eat something hot and swallow it. The toe is 9 million scolville but you are sucking on it. Need I say more!!! Picture was for fun but that was about 20 mins after!!

Perfect if you like strong vinegar-y sauces.

So my partner loves this sauce, but she loves kimchi and all things vinegar/acid-y. So I'm giving this 4 stars based on her opinion.

The normal Hellfire Detroit is one of my favorite sauces of all time for reference; however Bourbon Habanero Ghost is too tart/acidy for my taste, its also considerably hotter (which is welcome for some but a difference to note), I'd say 40% hotter than normal hellfire.

Good flavour with lingering heat

This is a pretty darn hot sauce, but the underlying flavour is still noticeable. This is a good one to have in your collection for those liking a strong kick now and then.

So good!

Bought this set as a gift for my brother who collects hot sauce and he liked it a lot. The Chicago one works well with guacamole! While the Adobo loco packs a punch. 10/10 would purchase and try other stuff again! Also the packaging is great and it arrived in perfect condition.
