A beautiful collaboration between Heartbeat Hot Sauce and Lake of The Woods Brewing Company resulted in a hot sauce with character to spare. Fermented Habanero peppers gets a color & flavor boost by Forgotten Lake Blueberry Ale, a medium body ale with citrus flavors, a clean sweet malt aroma and delicate blueberry finish.

Ingredients: Blueberries, bell pepper, onion, distilled vinegar, sugar, red Habanero, garlic, lime juice, kosher salt, canola oil, blueberry ale (water, malted barley, hops, blueberries)

Great on poultry

Really like this hot sauce when paired with chicken. I have it straight on top of roast chicken breast all the time, or mix it into chicken salad. I don't think I'd put it at 3 peppers heat-level compared to other hot sauces at that level, but it's definitely delicious and has a bit of kick to it.

Tasty and surprising!

I'm a picky eater and felt adventurous when I ordered this, which turned out to be a great surprise. I used it on a salad instead of dressing, and wow! Also tried it on pancakes. Odd combo but worked as well :) Loved it, and will reorder when I'm out for sure!

Fun and sweet!

Can definitely taste the blueberry. It’s slightly sweet with a mild burn from the habanero. Not as good as the pineapple version though.

Great flavor, good on everything

Put this on your sandwiches, chicken nuggets, or even a salad. This is a very sweet blueberry sauce with a slight afterburn. Not too hot, heat scale of 2-3 is accurate, so everyone can enjoy it! You can taste all the ingredients which is pretty rare for a hot sauce.
