Sauce piquante Trinidad Scorpion de Matouk
I love this sauce, its got great heat and flavour with a dash of the Caribean to it.
Great flavour, not very hot.
Of course, I am prejudiced as I am from Trinidad and have been using Matouks’ hot sauces for the past 40 years! If you like adding flavor to your food without changing the taste, Matouks hot sauces are for you. A word of caution- be really careful with the Scorpion sauce😱😱😱

Great flavour like all the other Matouk sauces. As for spiciness: I licked some off my finger and was disappointed at first because it didn't seem to be as hot as I had thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it is hot, but not the hottest I have tasted.
I decided to mix some into my bowl of pasta and BAM was it hot! While it is not the spiciest, it has a great flavor and a little bit goes a loooooooong way.
If you are looking for something that isn't "burn your tongue - hot" but powerful enough to heat up a pot of chili with about a tablespoon; then this is the hot sauce for you!
