Heartbeat has very quickly become my favourite hot sauce maker; this one being my absolute favourite sauce. The flavour is so good, so full, and the heat is absolutely perfect. Literally amazing on anything... it's the best on lightly seasoned chicken breast.

I've enjoyed other Heartbeat sauces, but this one was disappointing. It doesn't really taste like a hot sauce, more like a chipotle mayo with a faint whisper of acidic umami. I don't have a super high heat tolerance and I don't notice any heat at at all. I put it all over my eggs and noticed so little impact I had to add another hot sauce over top (which I tasted fine, so I know I'm not just going crazy). The flavour itself is alright, nice in pasta, but I had to aggressively smother my orzo in it to give it just a subtle accent. I guess it'll go to good use, but I'm using it mainly to not waste the $18.

Don't know what piri piri means, never had it before but it tastes great. Just wish is was a little more affordable for the size you get. It's a little expensive.
