This sauce is exactly what it advertises itself as. Smokey. Garlicky. It’s not trying to be fancy, it’s not trying to be a complex recipe with 5 different spices that have depth of flavour bringing a waltz to your palate. It’s Smoke, it’s garlic, and I love it with simple dishes that require the two flavours listed in the title.

I feel bad giving this hot sauce an average review since it is exactly as advertised. It is smoky, it is garlicky and the 5/10 heat rating seems about right.
It's just...not that great of a hot sauce. My brother's first take when trying the sauce for the first time was "it's not quite there yet". Maybe they need another flavour or something to tie the smoke and the garlic together as right now they are sort of competing against each other.

Like any good hot sauce they burn going in and they burn coming out. Aside from the torrential down pour of sweat the instigated And as such the change of clothes that was required after using them I found the experience entirely enjoyable
This Dawson's Cedar Smoked Garlic is now a must for me, it's so good and it goes on everything!! I love it, will order it again and again!
