Marie Sharp's Red Hornet Hot Sauce
It's a fairly basic sauce, its the four standard ingredients you expect. It's executed well and tastes good.
If you look on Marie's website, this sauce has been rebranded. Marie sharp cultivated the Red Hornet pepper as a derivative from the Trinidad Scorpion pepper. As such, the new branding is her "Scorpion" sauce, but apparently the ingredients are identical, it's just renamed. So this is a COLLECTOR'S BOTTLE!
As for the experience, the aroma is somewhat overpowering with onion. It almost gives the impression of slight body odor at first. If you keep testing your palette it will stand out as a very onion and vinegar forward sauce. The heat is nice, it's not too hot though I'd put this more around 8/10 instead of 9/10 for heat. If you LOVE vinegar and onions, you might want to try this sauce, a lot of people seem to enjoy it. I however, found it difficult to enjoy. While I did finish the bottle, it's probably not one I'd purchase again. Now it's off to my bottle graveyard for display.
