Grilled shishito is available at many yakitori [meat skewer] stands in Japan, but I rarely see that offered in Canada. This sauce captures that taste with just a kiss of garlic. It is not spicy at all [and that is ok] but it goes so well with any meat, especially steak. The only downside is that because it is not spicy - it is not the case of 'a little dab will do ya', so I went through it quite rapidly :).
