Never would have thought of chili flakes, bourbon, and maple syrup, but its a lovely combination. I've used it to add sweetness to many different dishes, it's a regular inclusion in my special burger sauce blend. On it's own its very sweet, with smokey undertones and not a lot of heat. Bought it to add to a gift basket for an Australian friend and a bottle for myself, huge success all around, we both love it.
