I'm a big fan of Humble House's Guajillo and Ancho sauces, and like those this is a very technically competent sauce. Well balanced heat and perfect consistency.

Unfortunately, unlike the other Humble House sauces I found this one had an odd and not particularly appetizing flavour. I'm not a professional food reviewer and thus have a hard time describing the underlying flavours, but something contributed a bitter or off-putting flavour. While I will finish the bottle, it's taking me a long time as I find myself reaching for other bottles instead. Will not buy again.

Suggest trying this one in store first to decide if it's right for you.

Awesome

I adore this hot sauce for it's balance of mild heat and incredible flavour, I use it on eggs, hot dogs, burgers, tacos, roast chicken, and even steamed vegetables. Absolutely one of my top 5 favorite hot sauces based on a complex flavour profile.

this stuff is so amazing, we eat it almost everything, including dessert! seriously, it compliments so well. From dark chocolate to ice cream. My mom puts cinnamon in yogurt and berries - well, this stuff takes it to the next level
