The Ghost pepper has a very distinctive heat signature - slow to come on, it eventually fills your mouth with a smouldering heat that lingers long after the last drop of hot sauce is consumed. It's the first ingredient in this particular sauce, making it scary indeed.

Even though pears are the second ingredient I found this sauce to be too sweet and not enough heat.
