Ginger Goat The Original Goat Hot Sauce
We're always excited to see Canadian hot sauces on the show and this one is a brilliant mix of bold heat and sweet flavour. By smoking some of the key ingredients and balancing the amount of Carolina Reaper peppers to give you the perfect amount of heat, the guys at Ginger Goat has put together a great medium heat, maximum flavour sauce.
Ingredients: Apple cider vinegar, smoked pineapple, ginger, pineapple, carrot, lime juice concentrate, Carolina Reaper pepper, smoked onion, smoked garlic (olive oil, garlic), sugars (brown sugar), kosher salt, cilantro, turmeric. Net weight: 148 ml

Awesome! Spice level is good any hotter and I personally would not enjoy as much. This sauce is excellent
So I originally ordered one bottle of the Ginger Goat because I had seen some positive reactions to it on Hot Ones. I had trepidations, as the Hot Ones Classic was generally hot enough for me and while I have a higher heat tolerance than that, I generally don't like to test that tolerance in lieu of enjoying my meal.
The first time I made wings with Ginger Goat though, I immediately realized that the reactions were to the amazing flavour. You taste the ginger, but the sweetness of the pineapple as well. The heat is present but not overwhelming... it is complementary to the flavour. It also builds as you consume your wings over the meal, but it eases off with only a little resting. It never crosses the threshold to overshadowing the flavour though.
It is also fantastic on basa. I ended up loving the sauce so much I've already gone through 3 of the other 4 bottles I since ordered, and plan on restocking again soon.
This hot sauce leaves a great ginger aftertaste with a nice amount of heat. Currently my favourite!
It's ginger, it's goat, it's smoked pineapple, it's amazing.
I just bought my first batch of sauces, but I bought x2 of this one because of the ingredients. I opt for flavour > everything else. I've travelled the world & I love different types of spice & I honestly had no clue where I would fall on the scoville scale. 6/10 is where I start to actually taste any heat when mixed with food.
- This so far is one of my favourite sauces. I love ginger, cumin, and pineapple so how could you go wrong? :p
- will order again in the future.
