Habanero-Maple, Tahini and Sweet Smoked Paprika Sauce

A smoldering, creamy fusion of bold heat, sweet smoked paprika and notes of sugary maple.

The perfect companion for salads, pasta dishes, meats, fish, vegetables and more!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Sinai Gourmet Habanero-Maple sauce (or to taste)
  • 6 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
  • ¼ cup water (or more, as needed to reach desired consistency)
  • ¾ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 – 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1 cup finely chopped fresh sweet red bell pepper
  • 2 - 3 tsp sweet smoked paprika powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper

Directions

  • Purée the tahini, water, lemon juice, olive oil, maple syrup, garlic, red bell pepper, smoked paprika powder, salt and pepper in a blender or food processor until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the Sinai Gourmet Habanero-Maple sauce. For a thinner sauce, slowly add extra water, one teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached. Refrigerate until ready to use.
